ARTS EDUCATOR NEWS: Punjab government is going to announce 16,000 vacancies for arts teachers in the end of August. The authorities have instructed the concern departments to complete their homework as soon as possible.
According to the sources, the Punjab chief minister took this step to facilitate the candidates who has their degree in arts subjects, as currently teachers were hired for the science subjects in Punjab schools. “Another reason to announce these vacancies is to promote the importance of arts subjects,” they added.
Selection criteria would be BA or MA and posts for the grade of 9, 14 and 16 would be on merit. The high officials have directed the concern department to complete their homework in time. The Punjab government would announce the vacancies in the end of August.
Recently large numbers of science teachers were appointed for schools in Punjab but at that time there was no place for the candidates having degrees in arts subjects. This time they would get a chance to get prove their worth.

Art Teachers Recruitment’s In August 2012. According to detail govt of the Punjab is in the process to recruit 16000 Arts teachers. The policy formulation is in progress for the recruitment of arts teachers in Punjab. The suggestions are being sought from different corners.
The Arts Subject are Very Important but govt is ignoring this fact. Many Learned Teachers from Villages of Punjab are of the view that making English Compulsory is a conspiracy against the Youth of Punjab villagers. The MA in English can’t speak English then how can they teach quality English. CSS and PCS = PMS are in English only to oblige rich and influential of Punjab & Pakistan.
CSS and PCS – PMS and all lucrative posts exam should be in URDU and only in Urdu to give equal opportunity to the youth of Villages of Punjab. Urdu, Urdu and only Urdu should be instructional language as we think in this language.

Islamabad, The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has assigned Rs10 million in every academic semester to help needy students.
Besides this allocation the AIOU will soon start a support campaign for students to get funds from wealthy people, said AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Nazir Ahmed Sangi while presiding over a fundraising meeting of senior university officers on Thursday.
The university’s allocated funds are distributed among students through its regional offices to make sure their proper consumption. The main receivers of the scheme are deserving students from far-flung areas who get free textbooks and reduction or complete renunciation of fees.
The vice chancellor said these students could also be given small loans on easy installments to start a local industry or small businesses. This fund will not only help extent education but it will also help 50% of students enrolled in technical programs who belong to rural areas.
The idea to help poor, deprived, needy and deserving students needs our full support that is why the university has opened bank accounts to receive donations, he added.
Meanwhile, Country Director Mohsin Saeed, on behalf of Muhammad Naeem Abbasi Naqashbandi, chairman of the Global Relief, gave a cheque for Rs100,000 to the vice chancellor for their contribution to the student support fund.
The vice chancellor esteemed the goodwill on part of the organisation and said that the university would welcome private organisations in undertaking joint venture for quick educational development in the country.
He said that the AIOU has also introduced a number of skill-based and job-oriented programs to permit its students to earn their livelihood and have respectable life in society.

Govt of Punjab ny aik policy about age relaxation announce ki hai jis mai Distt Govt ki seats per DCOs ko athorise kia gia hai k wo applicants ko 5 years ki age relax day sakty hain, is policy k mutabik ab recruitment k liy age limit 35 years + 5 years DCOs relaxation = 40 years ho gi. janab CM Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharief sahb ka nehayt shukar guzar hun jinhon ny age relax day kar ham per ehsan kia.
