School Education Department Govt. of Punjab has issued Recruitment Policy For Educators 2016. This recruitment policy has been approved by Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. There are 31444 posts of Educators (all categories) and 2178 Assistant Education Officers (AEOs), and district-wise break up of these posts is available as follows
ESE Total Posts = 17721 (Equal to Regular PST in BPS-9)
SESE Total Posts = 10103 (Equal to Regular EST in BPS-14)
SSE Total Posts = 3620 (Equal to Regular SST in BPS-16)
AEOs Total Posts = 2178 (Equal to BPS-16 Pay Scale)
