Why doesn’t the developers examine licensing system for used games… If a retailer opportunities a developer’s license then your retailer has permission to sell the corresponding games at whatever price point but the developer gets many of the the profit and whichever licensing fees the industry as a whole agrees upon.
Maybe on the new-gen controllers. The C64, Atari 2600, Colecovision, et al. had quite a few such games other than are you currently specifying. And they came out then Nintendo/etc. generation of consoles came out. Even then, yeah, you’re not going to nibble on much selection for the console. I remember the PS1 and is horrid lack of video gaming, which is why E-mail get one until Final Fantasy 7 came out much later. And yeah, the 80’s wasn’t liquid happiness in a bottle, but it was preferable to program games, the games would turn out sooner than today (how long for Skyrim after Oblivion?), and the story made the game instead of the visuals. The shift to 3D made everything for kids complicated, and as a lead, developer tools got much more complicated. Some things are in order to design than others, and if you spend all your time attempting to make a game look exceptional, you won’t have several hours to devote to story. I hate to believe it, but Diablo 3 looks because of graphically better version with the Gauntlet console game after that Diablo 2, and that’s something this particular worries me. That’s what happened to the Might and Magic array before it died (they sought out of money due to accomplish time-related engine development prices).
I have purchased every now and then Blizzard product ever released except for Cataclysm, but I’m just sick of how Blizzard does things now and I can’t be buying any even more of their games. It really saddens me many of us think of how great Blizzard once was compared to the distasteful monster they’ve become.
