Ph.D. M.Phil/M.Sc. or equivalent from an HEC recognized
University with 15/25/30 years relevant experience respectively in a
University, national or international organization. The candidate must
possess expertise/ specialization in a particular area suiting the
requirements of university. Practitioners with sufficient teaching and
management experience may be considered for appointment.

Retired ambassador / diplomat/ government servant of
BPS-21 and above. Subject Specialist from Pakistan Armed Forces without a
Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/area can also be considered provided he/she
has sufficient expertise/international exposure in handling (I) National
security policy (ii) Foreign and Economics Affairs (iii) Defence Policy and
Military Strategy. (iv) Internal security.

M.Phil/MSc. From an accredited university recognized by
HEC with at least 10 years relevant administrative experience in a public
sector university/educational institution of national repute or work
experience in Government/Semi-Government organizations. Computer Proficiency
is a prerequisite.
