Federal Govt. has announced 7.5% increase in Salary and pension of Govt. Employees. There is 25% increase in medical allowance. Adhoc relief allowance of last three years has been merged in basic pay. Minimum pay is increased from Rs 12000 to Rs 13000. Tax rate for salary employees has been decreased from 5% to 2%.
Salary employees are not much happy with this progress as they want more increase in salary. Employees were expecting new pay scales because it is more than 4 years that scales have not been revised.
Can you tell me how to calculate increase in salary? thanks
