Budget 2017-18, Govt Employees Salary & Pension 10-15 Percent Increase Proposal
Federal Government of Pakistan is thinking to raise the pay and pension of public servants in next fiscal budget 2017-2018. According to news report the expected increase in salaries and pension will be 10% to 15%. While option of merging of 50% Adhoc relief allowance in Basic Pay is also in proposal.

Finance Division Regulation wing has start initial work on this issue.
It is being proposed that the increase in salaries of employees working in grade 1-16 will be 15 percent. While the employees working in BPS-17 and above including BPS-18,BPS-19, BPS-20, BPS-21 and BPS-22 will get net increase in 10 percent.
Any update about this news? how much is govt going to increase the pay in this budget? also will there be a revision of scales or not?
