Govt. of Pakistan is in the phase of finalizing the budget 2014-15. The expected increase in pay this year is from 10 to 15%. There are two suggestions under review now. According to first suggestion, there will be an increase of 10% in pay of all Govt. employees. But according to second suggestion, an increase of 15% is suggested for employees from scale 1 to 16 and an increase of 10% is suggested for scale 17 and above.
Federal Govt. has announced 10% increase in Pay and pension of Govt. Employees.
Minimum pension is increased from 5000 to 6000 rupees. 5% increase in conveyance allowance of employees from scale 1-15.
It should be noted that PML(N) Govt. has not been much popular among Govt. employees because of their track record of not increasing Govt. employee’s pay according to dearness. Employees demand much more increase in pay than this one.

The pay of govt employees should be more than the private sector. While the govt employees should perform more than that of private sector. there should be a mechanism which can utilize the abilities os govt employees.
Thanks for sharing your view, but reality is that private sector employees more as compared to govt. employees and are also paid higher than the govt. employees.

Govt employees salary should be increase 50 % . house rent should also be increase according to existing pay.

Punjab Government employees and Pensioners is a vote bank for those who will provide basic facilities to them. ML (N Group) is not so popular amongst the Government servant and pensioners as it should be, because 10% increase in basic pay and pension is so meagre, which could not meet with the daily use items due to high rates of ediable articles.

The contractor of Shalimar Express Train is not giving Railways Fare Concession to the Senior Citizens above the age of 65 years. It is requested that the contractor of Shalimar Express Train may please be directed that half fare concession may be given to the senior citizens above the age of 65 years.
It will cost nothing but create much more without involving finance.
