An allowance of 25 percent has been approved by the Punjab cabinet for over 721 thousand provincial employees of Grades 1 to 19. This allowance will be added from 1st June 2021.
Govt. employees have been waiting for this allowance impatiently. These employees even registered their protest when only federal employees were given this allowance and the Provinvial Govts. refused it.
