Government of the Punjab School Education Department has issued Notification No. SO(A-1)1-31/2008 dated 27-12-2014 in connection with Extension in Winter Holidays in Punjab Schools.
Winter vacations are extended till January 11, 2015.

No. SO(A-1)1 -31/2008. In partial modification of this Departments earlier notification of even number dated 18-12-2014, winter Vacations are extended up to 11-01-2015 in all the Government & Private Schools of Punjab. Al the schools shall re-open on 12th January, 2015.
All EDOs to ensure compliance of this notification by all Private/ Autonomous schools

It should be noted that this is the second time this year that winter vacations have been extended. Earlier winter vacations were extended till January 2, 2015 in the winter vacation extension notification issued on December 27, 2014.
